You are now entering my imaginary world!!! *Insert magical music

What kind of world would be imaginative enough to create and call my own? Well according to Keri Smith that world can be generated through developing each element and combining them to make an "imaginary world". Through the database its a mental structure that the reader can take in order to formulate their ideal world. Taking to basic forms of using the imagination to create something that is outside of what reality is. What makes it unique is that it's your own world that was developed by the elements that was put together. 

My imaginary world would be a sub universe within my mind in which I would have the ability to retreat to whenever. As one looks upon the sky it would be a window through my eyes which would show everyday life. The clouds would be made up of my brain cells. As it rains my ideas would fall from the sky. The trees would be brain stems and the buildings would represent my emotions. Bright ideas would represent daylight as everyone is joyful and full of hope. Anything that comes to mind will be created by the will of my mind. In order to enter this world lucid dreaming will act a key to unlock the door to my imaginary world. These different elements relate to the past discussions during class regarding the fact that each character and thought is generated by real world thoughts. Also, the element of keeping things true to the foundation of the story. For example as my imaginary world was within my mind, different elements no matter how they are organized are related or correlate. Another thing would be how characters can either be added or removed no matter what the foundation of the story will always be the same.

" Lick the star " by Sofia Copeland, personally the black and white perspective points it out more. It's as if this is what she would want her imaginary world to look like. This somewhat relates to one of the Keri Smith's prompts that involves that actual photo and images that make her imaginary world come to life. That seems to be through a black and white perspective. Which it seems like not a perfect world as most would think a world away from reality would be but this seems to have a yin and yang type of vibe. Take the bad when its bad and you take in the good when everything is fine. The narrator seems to be a guide for us as we enter her imaginary world or the world that she lives in. We are getting other point of views but we still are reflecting back to what the Narrator is telling us. Podcast reflection and podcast link

Regarding my podcast it was very interesting to create. It was the first time ever that I recorded myself speaking with others about something that I’m passionate about. Usually I hate hearing myself after I recorded my voice but that was a comfort zone I had to get out of. Developing a script for the podcast was cool as well but it helped a lot, so I might not sound scripted. Other than that, I felt like I did alright regarding dialog and just to keep things interested in the listener. As there aren’t many podcasts about poetry, it was great to be a part of a genre that there should be podcast for. Many people might think it’s just people reading poetry, but its more than that. Connecting to any who is interested in poetry is the goal. I think the podcast format is not necessarily the best format for poetry, but it can be something that can be a part of hopefully the expansion of this genre on all platforms.
